The House of Representatives just passed the 2010 Senate jobs bill, which will provide incentives to employers who hire unemployed workers. Is the bill worth its $15 billion price tag? As of October 2, 2009, the U.S. has 9.8% unemployment. And that’s not even counting those folks who are under-employed, or who have simply given up on finding work. Gee, weren’t government bailouts of big banks supposed to stop this from happening? |
